RULES FOR STAYING WITH A DOG
The operator of Hotel Rzemieślnik *** – Zakopane kindly requests all guests to comply with the following regulations, which are intended to ensure a peaceful and safe stay for all visitors.
1. DOG REGISTRATION
1. 1. A dog’s stay must be reported to the reception no later than on the day of check-in.
1. 2. The fee for a dog’s stay is pln 50 per night / per dog.
1. 3. The dog’s owner is required to sign a declaration of responsibility and accept the terms of these regulations.
2. OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. On the premises and in the common areas of the hotel, the dog must be under the constant supervision of the owner or a person authorized by them.
2.2. On the hotel premises, dogs must be kept on a leash. dogs of large or aggressive breeds must also wear a muzzle. 2.3. The owner must have an up-to-date health record book for the dog, confirming vaccinations and deworming.
3. AREAS ACCESSIBLE TO DOGS
3.1. Dogs are allowed in the following areas:- hotel rooms,- hallways and passages while moving around,- the outdoor restaurant garden,- the bar area.
3.2. Dogs are not allowed in the indoor restaurant or recreational areas (e.g. spa, conference room).
4. SAFETY AND HYGIENE RULES
4.1. Hotel linens and amenities (e.g. towels, blankets, bedding) must not be used for the dog.
4.2. Room cleaning is only performed:- when the dog is not present in the room, or- when the owner is present.
4.3. Please place the "dog in the room" door hanger on the outside of the door (available at reception).
4.4. The owner must clean up after the dog both inside and outside the hotel premises.
4.5. Dogs may be left alone in the room for a short period only if:- they do not disturb other guests (e.g. barking, howling),- they do not pose a risk to hotel staff,- the door hanger indicating a dog is in the room is displayed on the door. The owner is fully responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by a dog left unattended.
5. LIABILITY
5.1. The dog’s owner bears full responsibility for any damage or contamination caused by the dog, both in the room and in common areas.
5.2. The cost of any damage or additional cleaning will be evaluated individually and charged to the owner.
5.3. In case of repeated and justified complaints from other guests, the hotel reserves the right to refuse further service to the guest with a dog, without entitlement to compensation. If the presence of the dog results in the need to compensate other guests (e.g. with discounts or refunds), the hotel may charge the dog owner for the related costs. this provision is in accordance with articles 353¹ and 471 of the polish Civil Code (freedom of contract and liability for damages).
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
6.1. In the event of non-compliance with these regulations, the hotel may refuse to continue providing services to the guest with a dog.
6.2. The hotel is not responsible for the behavior of animals staying on its premises.
6.3. Matters not covered by these regulations shall be governed by the provisions of the civil code.
